Marinted Fish cooked in blended onion paste and other spices to make this tasty fish.


Ingredients
2.5 lb fish cleaned but not boned
2 onionClick to find more about onion sliced
1 onionClick to find more about onion sliced and fried
1 teaspoon gingerClick to find more about ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlicClick to find more about garlic paste
3 green chilies
1 teaspoon fenugreekClick to find more about fenugreek seeds
1 teaspoon saltClick to find more about salt
2 tablespoon sweet sesame oil
Yogurt
oil for cooking


Preparation
Let the fish marinate for an hour or so in enough curds mixed with saltClick to find more about salt to cover it.
Meanwhile grind separately one of the sliced onions, the fried onionClick to find more about onion, gingerClick to find more about ginger, garlicClick to find more about garlic and green chillies.
Put a pan with the oil on the fire, brown the fenugreekClick to find more about fenugreek seeds in it and the sliced onionClick to find more about onion and the prepared onions, and when these turn brown, add the other spices.
Add the fish carefully with the yogurt, cover firmly and cook.
Serve hot with boiled rice.
