A wonderful quick way to bake fish. This spicy seafood dish will delight everyone.


Ingredients
1 kg rohu or other firm white fish
2 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoon saltClick to find more about salt
2 tablespoon garlicClick to find more about garlic paste
2 tablespoon gingerClick to find more about ginger paste
3-4 green chilies, crushed
2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ajwainClick to find more about ajwain
1/2 level teaspoon turmericClick to find more about turmeric ground
2 teaspoon coriander seedsClick to find more about coriander seeds, ground
1 teaspoon garam masala
2 tbsp vinegarClick to find more about vinegar or lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon chat masala


Preparation
Wash and pat dry fish. Cut into 1 inch cubes.
Rub the fish pieces with lemon juice and 1 teaspoon saltClick to find more about salt. Cover and marinate for half an hour.
Combine garlicClick to find more about garlic, gingerClick to find more about ginger, green chilies, chili powder, ajowanClick to find more about ajowan, turmericClick to find more about turmeric, coriander and garam masala in a medium bowl and mix well with enough lemon juice or vinegarClick to find more about vinegar to make thick paste.
Coat the fish pieces with spice paste. Cover and marinate for at least 6 hours in refrigerator.
Place fish in a greased baking tray and bake at 180C (375) mark 5 for about 25-35 minutes or until cooked through. About 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time, turn the pieces over, baste well with oil and return to the oven until cooked.
Sprinkle with chat masala, if desire. Transfer to a serving plate and decorate with lemon slices.

Good..Really good and yummy. Limited useage of oil makes it further healthier.
