A delicious and spicy Goat Feet recipe, very time consuming to clean and cook but in the end come out very tasty.

Ingredients
6 goat's feet, cleaned and washed (Trotter)
2 tablespoons gingerClick to find more about ginger/garlicClick to find more about garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon black pepperClick to find more about black pepper
2 inches cinnamonClick to find more about cinnamon sticks
2 green cardamoms
2 cloves
4 whole black peppercorns
2 tablespoons oil
1 medium onionClick to find more about onion
2 spring onions
4 green chilies
1/2 teaspoon turmericClick to find more about turmeric powder
1 teaspoon sambhar powder
2 teaspoons red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mintClick to find more about mint leaves
3 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leavesClick to find more about coriander leaves
3 tomatoes, chopped
SaltClick to find more about Salt to taste


Preparation
Marinate the goat feet with the gingerClick to find more about ginger/garlicClick to find more about garlic paste.
Place them in a pressure cooker with the cinnamonClick to find more about cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms, black peppercorns, pepper powder and 1 tablespoons oil.
Cover with enough water{should be atleast 2 inches above the level of the goat feet}.
Cook for about 50 minutes or till they are tender.
Heat oil in a pan. Toss in the onions and spring onions. Stirfry until the raw smell is gone and they change colour.
Add chopped green chillies and all the spice{masala} powders. Mix well.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until the mixture is pulpy.
Add the chopped mintClick to find more about mint and corriander leaves alongwith saltClick to find more about salt to taste. Mix well. Pressure cook for another 50 minutes or until tender.
Serve in soup plates with crisp bread rolls and spring onions. Enjoy!

How do you clean the hooves before cooking? Just wash them, or do you remove the outer hoof??

Yes you may want to cook it for long time. Sivi we completely agree with you that Trotters taste delicious when cooked on low heat for long time. But on the other hand if you marinade them then cooking time may vary.
