A perfect recipe for crispy, crunchy and seasoned Chicken wings. Great snack for party or picnic.


Ingredients
2 lbs chickenClick to find more about chicken wings (niblets)
6-8 cups vegetable oil
Marinade:
4 cups of water
1 tablespoon saltClick to find more about salt
1/2 teaspoon chinese saltClick to find more about salt
Coating:
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
2 cups plain white flourClick to find more about white flour
2 1/2 teaspoon saltClick to find more about salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 teaspoon chinese saltClick to find more about salt


Preparation
1. Trim excess fat from niblet pieces. Preheat oil in a deep fryer (or Karahi with lid) to 170 degrees.
2. Combine water, saltClick to find more about salt and chinese saltClick to find more about salt for the marinade in a large bowl. Add the chickenClick to find more about chicken and let it sit for 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
3. Combine the beaten egg and milk in a medium bowl. In another medium bowl combine the rest of the coating ingredients ( flour, saltClick to find more about salt, pepper and chinese saltClick to find more about salt).
4. When the chickenClick to find more about chicken has marinated, dry between paper towels. Coat each piece separately. Dip into flour, then egg and then finally coat with flour once more. Stack each piece on a plate until all pieces have been coated.
5. Fry about 4 to 5 pieces of chickenClick to find more about chicken at a time in the deep fryer. DO NOT lift the basket up because the chickenClick to find more about chicken will stick and coating will rip apart when you try to remove it. Fry until golden brown (12 to 15 minutes). Turn halfway through to cook evenly.
6. Remove the chickenClick to find more about chicken to a rack or paper towels to drain for 5 minutes before eating.
