Chicken chow mein is one of the most popular dishes.Chow mein is a stir fried dish containing meat and Chinese vegetables in a brown, soy sauce-based sauce.


Ingredients
ChickenClick to find more about Chicken 1 lb boneless cut in very small cubes.
Noodles 1 lb spagetti noodles boiled and drained
Oil about 2 tablespoons
Soy Sauce 3 tablespoons (to taste)
SaltClick to find more about Salt 1 teaspoon (to taste)
Black PepperClick to find more about Black Pepper 2 teaspoons (to taste)

Carrots 2 diced very fine
Green Bell PeppersClick to find more about Bell Peppers 1 diced very fine
Onions 1 medium diced very fine


Preparation
In a pot, boil and drain the noodles.
Do not overcook the noodles.. keep them firm not too soft.
Set aside.
In large fry pan, heat oil and cook the chickenClick to find more about chicken.
Add 1/2 of the soy sauce, saltClick to find more about salt and black peppers.
Take the chickenClick to find more about chicken out of pan and set aside in another dish.
In same fry pan cook on low flame the carrots, bell peppersClick to find more about bell peppers and onions.
Add the remaining soy sauce, saltClick to find more about salt and black peppers.
Keep the vegetables crispy.. do not overcook.
Cook for about 5-7 minutes.
Take the vegetables out and add to the chickenClick to find more about chicken dish.
In same fry pan, fry the noodles for about 5 minutes... you may add a little soy sauce and black peppers here too just a little to add color to noodles.
Then add the chickenClick to find more about chicken and vegetables.
Stir fry for about 5 minutes.. eat warm.

I am making it Tomorrow and now I can not wait to make it it was so long the method it was A4 and was so tiring I was thinking I do not want to make but thanks to this really helpful website now I can and I also used a helpful suggestion from Shumaila thanks also thanks a million you guys bye and thanks

thank you very much for the recipe, I made it this evening and it was superb!!! So easy and so tasty...really love it! I just made some slight differences. I marinated the chicken (2 breast pieces) in - 1 tbsp oyster sauce, - 1 tsp soya sauce, - salt, black pepper - 1 small tsp of cornstarch. And at the end, when noodles and all vegetables and chicken were in the wok, I also added 1 tbsp of ketchup.
