Delicious and a slightly different way of making Chicken...


Ingredients
1 chickenClick to find more about chicken (800 gms.) cut into 8 pieces
1 cup curd (preferably from full fat milk)
1 tbsp. mintClick to find more about mint leaves, minced or finely chopped (optional)
1 tsp. saltClick to find more about salt
1 tbsp. cornflour mixed in 1 tbsp. curd
1 tbsp. oil
1 small onionClick to find more about onion chopped (1/2 cup)
2-3 green chillies (adjust to taste)
1" piece gingerClick to find more about ginger
1 tsp. garam masala powder.
Garnish :
a few mintClick to find more about mint and coriander leavesClick to find more about coriander leaves chopped, some kasoori-methiClick to find more about methi.


Preparation
Grind together onionClick to find more about onion, gingerClick to find more about ginger and green chillies to make a paste.
In the dish, add 1 tbsp. oil and onionClick to find more about onion paste. Mix well.
Add chickenClick to find more about chicken and all other ingredients except cornflour. Mix well.
Micro high uncovered 10 mins. Stir once after 5 mins.
Mix cornflour in 1 tbsp. curd. Add to chickenClick to find more about chicken and mix well.
Micro high uncovered 23 mins. Let stand 2 mins.
Sprinkle chopped mintClick to find more about mint, coriander leavesClick to find more about coriander leaves and kasoori-methiClick to find more about methi.
Note : If thicker gravy is desired, increase cornflour to 2 tbsp.
