Lean beef slices coated in breadrumbs and then panfried.


Ingredients
500 grams lean beef
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon saltClick to find more about salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepperClick to find more about black pepper powder
2 eggs beaten
1 cup bread crumbs


Preparation
Cut the beef into 3 inch breakfast steaks. Lay the steaks on a board and prick with a fork or beat with a hammer.
Mix flour with saltClick to find more about salt and paper. Sprinkle over the meat and rub thoroughly into the surface of the meat.
Dip the steak first into the egg and then into the bread crumbs.
Deep fry in hot oil until brown and crisp. Drain on kitchen paper towel.
Serve hot with ketchup or mintClick to find more about mint chutney.
