A delicious shola recipe, similar to haleem, but made with mince meat (Qeema), rice, wholegrains.

Basmati rice 1/2 kg
Minced mutton 1/2 kg
Moong lentils with skin 1 cup
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Spinach chopped 2 cups
Soya chopped 2 tbsp
Onion finely cut 2
Ginger/garlic paste 3 tsp
Red chilli powder 3 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 2 tsp
All spices powder 1/2 tsp
Tomatoes chopped 2
Corriander powder 2 tsp
Oil 1 cup
Green Chillies and ginger chopped for garnishing
Soak rice and moong daal in water.
Heat oil in a pot and fry onions.
Take out half of the fried onion and add mince.
Add ginger/garlic, turmeric, red chilli, salt, coriander and tomatoes.
Cook mince for 1/2 an hour.
Add spinach and yogurt and cook for 10 more minutes.
Add soaked lentils, rice and 3 cups of water.
Cook until all ingredients become tender.
Finally add soya and all spices powder and stir well.
Garnish with the saved fried onions, green chillies and ginger and serve.
