Ingredients
Green mangoes 1 cup cut into small dices
Split red gramClick to find more about red gram 1 cup
TurmericClick to find more about Turmeric powder 1/2 tea sp
SaltClick to find more about Salt use as required
GingerClick to find more about Ginger 1 ea tsp chopped
Cumin powder 1 tea sp
Green chillies 2 nos
Red chillies 2 nos
GheeClick to find more about Ghee 2 table sp
Sugar 1 tea sp
Mustard seeds 1 tea sp
Curry leavesClick to find more about Curry leaves 1 sprig
Garam Masala powder 1 tea sp


Preparation
Wash and cook the daal with the turmericClick to find more about turmeric powder, saltClick to find more about salt and the sugar in a saut use .
Add the mangoClick to find more about mango to the dalClick to find more about dal.
Add a part of the gingerClick to find more about ginger to the dalClick to find more about dal along with the cumin powder and the garam masala powder. Mix well.
When the dalClick to find more about dal and the mangoClick to find more about mango is cooked remove from fire.
Heat the gheeClick to find more about ghee in a pan , add the mustard seeds, when they crackle, add the remaining gingerClick to find more about ginger, curry leavesClick to find more about curry leaves, slit green chillies and the broken red chillies.
Fry for 2 minutes over a low flame and pour over the dalClick to find more about dal. Serve hot.
