Lauki is a summer vegetable and is very light. This recipe tells us how to cook this simple dish in few easy steps.


Ingredients
600 gms White pumpkinClick to find more about pumpkin
1 cup Chopped onionClick to find more about onion
1 tbsp GingerClick to find more about Ginger paste
1 tbsp GarlicClick to find more about Garlic paste
3/4 cup Chopped tomatoClick to find more about tomato
1 tbsp Red chilli powder
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tsp TurmericClick to find more about Turmeric powder
SaltClick to find more about Salt to taste
2 tbsps Oil


Preparation
Peel white pumpkinClick to find more about pumpkin, cut lengthwise, remove seeds and cut into small dices. Heat
oil, add chopped onions and saute until soft.
Add gingerClick to find more about ginger, garlicClick to find more about garlic paste, stir and add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder,
coriander powder, turmericClick to find more about turmeric powder and saltClick to find more about salt. Cook for some time. Add white
pumpkinClick to find more about pumpkin, mix well.
Add approximately 3 cups of water and cook until white pumpkinClick to find more about pumpkin is cooked and
masala is thick.
Serve hot.
