Ingredients
1/2 lbs fish fillets, White (sole,

1 teaspoon cumin, grounded
Oil for deep frying
1/2 teaspoon coriander seedsClick to find more about coriander seeds, ground
3 cloves garlicClick to find more about garlic (crushed)
1 teaspoon aniseClick to find more about anise seeds, ground
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Lettuce leaves
Radishes, sliced


Preparation
Remove any skin and bones from fish, rinse and pat dry with paper towels. Cut into large chunks.
Mix together cumin, coriander, ground aniseClick to find more about anise, chile powder, garlicClick to find more about garlic, lemon juice and saltClick to find more about salt, blending to a smooth paste.
Spread over fish, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Half fill a deep pan or deepfryer with oil and heat to 350 F. (175C) or until a 1inch bread cube browns in 50 seconds.
Cook fish, a few pieces at a time, 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot, garnished with lettuce and radishClick to find more about radish slices.
