Raita is a yogurt-mint sauce that's a refreshing counterpart to salads. A variety of raw or cooked vegetables, fruits, nuts, and herbs can be added. Thinned with buttermilk, raitas can also be turned into refreshing cold soups.

Ingredients
Yogurt 1 cup
SaltClick to find more about Salt to taste
cumin seed (zeeraClick to find more about zeera) 1/2 tsp
green chilis (depends how spicy you want it) 2-5
MintClick to find more about Mint 1/4 bunch
Water 2 tbsp
GarlicClick to find more about Garlic 1 small cloveClick to find more about clove


Preparation
In a blender, put in the yogurt, saltClick to find more about salt, cumin seed, mintClick to find more about mint, chilis, and water. Blend until becomes semi-thick liquid.
Serve chilled.

sprinkling some dry roasted and powdered cumin seeds and chat masla will make it more tastier and will taste like restaurants one.
