A light chutney with a spicy tinge to it that goes wonderfully with a hearty sandwich.


Ingredients
Plum tomatoes 1 pound
Sugar 1/2 pound
RaisinsClick to find more about Raisins 1 cup
vinegarClick to find more about vinegar 1 cup
Water 1/2 litre
SaltClick to find more about Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1tbsp


Preparation
Peel the tomatoes.
Cut the peeled tomatoes into pieces and cook them very well.
Drain the water and add saltClick to find more about salt and red chilli powder.
Then add sugar.
Now put this mixture on low heat or until it become thick like sauce.
Add raisinsClick to find more about raisins and let it cool.
Spicy tomatoClick to find more about tomato chutney is ready to serve.

what do i do with the vinegar????and also the water
