Fried fish coated with spices and coconut and a hint of vinegar.


Ingredients
750 gms ... Roho/ Surmai fillets
3 tsp ... Red Chillies (fresh)
2 tbs ... Cocunut dessicated
2 tsp ... GingerClick to find more about Ginger, chopped
6 ... GarlicClick to find more about Garlic cloves
1 1/2 tbs ... White VinegarClick to find more about Vinegar
3 tbs ... MaidaClick to find more about Maida (flour)
SaltClick to find more about Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Lemon wedges for garnishing


Preparation
Wash the fish fillets and pat dry.
Sprinkle maidaClick to find more about maida over fillets and keep aside.
Grind together, red chillies, cocunut, gingerClick to find more about ginger, garlicClick to find more about garlic, vinegarClick to find more about vinegar and just enough water to make fine paste.
Add saltClick to find more about salt and evenly coat fillets with this paste.
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry fish till crisp.
Serve immediately, accompanied by lemon wedges.
