Sour Cream Chicken recipe by Tahira at PakiRecipes.com.
Chicken cooked in fragrant spices and zesty sour cream. The gravy tastes great over rice or noodles.


Ingredients
1 lb chickenClick to find more about chicken breast cut into 1 inch cubes.
500 ml of sour cream (avoid using nonfat, try using regular sour cream here.)
1 medium onionClick to find more about onion.
1 tbsp garlicClick to find more about garlic paste.
1 tbsp gingerClick to find more about ginger paste.
Vegetable oil.
Lemon juice.
1 tsp saltClick to find more about salt.
2 tsp coriander powder.
2 tsp cumin powder.
12 tsp chilli powder (acc. to spice level.)
12 tsp black pepperClick to find more about black pepper powder (acc. to spice level.)
1/4 tsp tumeric powder.


Preparation
After cutting chickenClick to find more about chicken let it sit in lemon juice until its time to be cooked.
Cut onions into small fine pieces.
Fry onions over medium heat in a small amount of vegetable oil until brown. Add half a cup of water and the gingerClick to find more about ginger, garlicClick to find more about garlic, and all spices.
After a short while, add chickenClick to find more about chicken and cook until done (approximately 1520 minutes.)
After chickenClick to find more about chicken is cooked most of the water should be dried up, lower heat to medium low and add sour cream.
Bring to a boil and it is done. Enjoy!
