Beef tenderised by marinating in yogurt accompained with aromatic spices and garnished with fresh coriander, mint and ginger etc.

Steak - 500 gms
Papaya paste - 4 tbsp
Ginger/garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Black pepper - 1 tsp
Poppy seed - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Green chillies - 10 pcs
Red chillies - 6 pcs, Whole
Cardamoms - 2 pcs
Green cardamoms - 2 pcs
Cinnamon - 1 pc
Yogurt - 1 1/2 cup
Oil - 1/4 cup
Onions - 4 tbsp, Fried
Fresh coriander, green chillies, mint, ginger for garnishing.
Roast poppy seeds, red chillies, black pepper, green cardamoms, cardamoms and cinnamon and grind.
Marinate steaks in papaya, salt, ginger/garlic paste, green chillies, yogurt and ground spices. Set aside for 4-5 hours.
Heat oil in a pot and cook steaks in it until tender.
When steaks are tender add fried onions. Cook for few more minutes and turn off the heat.
Garnish with coriander, mint, green chillies and ginger and serve hot with naans.
