Chicken pieces cooked with almonds, seasame seeds etc along with ginger/garlic paste.


Ingredients
1 tsp Sesame seedsClick to find more about Sesame seeds
1 tsp All Spice
1 tsp Poppy seedsClick to find more about Poppy seeds
1 tsp GingerClick to find more about Ginger / GarlicClick to find more about Garlic paste
1 tsp Cummin seeds
1 tbsp AlmondsClick to find more about Almonds blanched and ground
1 tbsp coriander seedsClick to find more about coriander seeds
1 & 1/2 kg ChickenClick to find more about Chicken cut into 8 pieces
3/4 cup Yogurt whipped
1/4 cup Oil
1 & 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
1/2 cup Water
1 tsp SaltClick to find more about Salt
Green coriander for garnishing


Preparation
Grind the sesame, poppy, cummin and coriander seedsClick to find more about coriander seeds.
To the yogurt, add all the spices, nuts, gingerClick to find more about ginger/garlicClick to find more about garlic and the ground spices. Mix well.
Rub this mixture all over the chickenClick to find more about chicken pieces and set aside for 1 hour.
Heat the oil in a Lagan, or a shallow pan with a lid, and fry the chickenClick to find more about chicken in it for 5 minutes.
Add the mixture, if any, remaining in the bowl and 1/2 a cup of water.
Cover the pan and cook, for approximately 15-20 minutes till the chickenClick to find more about chicken is tender.
Garnish with fresh coriander leavesClick to find more about coriander leaves and serve hot.
