Chicken marinated in hearty herbs and spices and then baked.


Ingredients
4 lb chickenClick to find more about chicken pieces skinned
3 tsp lemon juice
3 garlicClick to find more about garlic cloves minced
1 1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp fine herbs
1 1/2 tsp turmericClick to find more about turmeric
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
3/4 tsp ground gingerClick to find more about ginger
3 cup plain yoguhrt
1/2 tsp cinnamonClick to find more about cinnamon
2 onions finely chopped
1/2 tsp groung cloves


Preparation
Rub chickenClick to find more about chicken with garlicClick to find more about garlic, fine herbs and pepper. Combine remaining
ingredients in large bowl.
Add chickenClick to find more about chicken, turning to coat well. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 24 hours turning occasionally.
Preheat oven to 350. Remove chickenClick to find more about chicken from marinade and place in single
layer in large roasting pan.
Tent with foil and bake 30 minutes.
Remove foil, turn pieces and bake about 30 minutes longer or until
lightly browned, basting occasionally with marinade.
Serve immediately.
