Yoghurt Chicken recipe by Sadaf Mirza at PakiRecipes.com.
Chicken cooked in Tomatoes and onion gravy along with yogurt. Yogurt tenderizes chicken while keeping it moist and succulent.


Ingredients
1 whole chickenClick to find more about chicken
2 med. size tomatoes chopped
2 tbs yoghurt
2 medium size onions sliced
SaltClick to find more about Salt according to taste (mainly 1 1/2 tsp)
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tbs garlicClick to find more about garlic paste
1 tbs gingerClick to find more about ginger paste
1/2 tsp chilli powder (or more if want spicy)
1/2 tsp haldiClick to find more about haldi powder
Oil 8-10 tbs


Preparation
Heat oil in pan and add sliced onions.
Saute the onions until golden brown and then take out and drain oil on paper or napkin.
Grind the fried onions with tomatoes and yoghurt well.
In the same oil add the chickenClick to find more about chicken along with the garlicClick to find more about garlic and gingerClick to find more about ginger paste.
Mix well and stir for at least 5-10 mins.
After the chickenClick to find more about chicken is fried for a while add the grinded paste or mixture to the pan along with the rest of the ingredients and cook on low heat, mixing well. You can add a little bit of water if needed but better cook chickenClick to find more about chicken in its own water.
After chickenClick to find more about chicken is tender mix well and remove from heat.
