Simple and easy step by step recipe of the basic fried Qeema.


Ingredients
1/2 kg qeema
4 medium onions (sliced)
4 tsp garlicClick to find more about garlic paste
1 tsp gingerClick to find more about ginger paste
1 tsp turmericClick to find more about turmeric
2 tsp corriander (ground)
3/4 tsp saltClick to find more about salt
3/4 tsp chilli powder
1 tablespoon oil
Green chillies & corriander (for decoration)


Preparation
Fry 2 onions on medium fire till brown.
Mix the dry masalas in water to make a paste.
Add to fried onions. Add rest of the [raw] onions. Stir.
Add 2 tsp garlicClick to find more about garlic paste. Stir. Add qeema.
Let it cook till the water dries. Put 2 tsp of garlicClick to find more about garlic paste in a cup of water, add to the pan, fry the qeema till it becomes dark brown.
Add chopped corriander and chopped green chillies for decoration. Mix and serve.

Does it not need to be covered at all during cooking? I covered it for about 5 minutes and it became good soft.

Very good, I put 3 onions instead of 4 but it definitely gave the keema different taste. I added 2 green chilies while frying to give it more heat but very tasty. Thanks
