This is the first non-veg dish I ever made, and it's so quick and easy, that when I told a beginner about it once, she remarked to her husband 'Oh then we should make it often!'
 
Try it, and I'm sure you'll share the sentiment!
 
 
Ingredients:
 
¼ kg prawns, deshelled and deveined
 
15-20 garlic cloves, chopped
 
½ cup chopped coriander leaves
 
3 tbsp butter
 
Salt to taste
 
Method:
 
 
    * Heat the butter and add the garlic and half of the coriander. Stir and cook on a low flame for a few seconds.
 
    * Add the prawns and salt, and stir. Fresh prawns will be done in less than 2 minutes, but frozen ones will take longer. You know it is cooked when the prawns turn pink.
 
    * Take it off the flame, stir in the remaining coriander and serve.
