Chicken marinated in ginger/garlic and then cooked in a creamy sauce kind of gravy.


Ingredients
1 ChickenClick to find more about Chicken cut into 16 pieces
2 tsp GingerClick to find more about Ginger / GarlicClick to find more about Garlic paste
SaltClick to find more about Salt 1 tsp
4 tbsp + 1/4 cup oil
1 Cup Onions chopped
6 Graen chillies chopped
1 tsp Red chilly powder
10 Peppercorns crushed
2 tbsp GingerClick to find more about Ginger finely sliced
Fresh coriander leavesClick to find more about coriander leaves finely chopped
Pinch of allspiceClick to find more about allspice

MAKHNI GRAVY
1 Cup TomatoClick to find more about Tomato paste
1/2 tsp GingerClick to find more about Ginger / GarlicClick to find more about Garlic paste
3 Green chillies chopped
1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
1/2 tsp All spice
1/2 tsp SaltClick to find more about Salt
75 gms Butter or 3 tbsp
1/4 Cup Fresh cream
1 tsp Dried FenugreekClick to find more about FenugreekClick to find more about Dried <a href=FenugreekClick to find more about Fenugreek" align="middle" border="0" hspace="2" /> Leaves


Preparation
Prick the chickenClick to find more about chicken pieces with a fork.
Mix the GingerClick to find more about Ginger / GarlicClick to find more about Garlic, saltClick to find more about salt and 4 tbsps of oil.
Cover the chickenClick to find more about chicken pieces with this marinde and set aside for 30 minutes. Heat the remaining oil.
Then add the chickenClick to find more about chicken and stir.
Add the onionClick to find more about onion, green chillies, red chilli powder, black pepperClick to find more about black pepper and gingerClick to find more about ginger. Stir and cook till the oil seperates.
Add the "Makhani gravy" and cook over a low heat, for approximately 25 30 minutes, till the chickenClick to find more about chicken is tender.
Sprinkle the coriander leavesClick to find more about coriander leaves and all spice on top.
In a saucepan combine the first 6 items listed under MAKHANI GRAVY and cook till they blend.
Bring to a boil, then add the butter and cream, stir through, add the fenugreekClick to find more about fenugreek.
