Hi

Some of the most common points to remember while decorating a guest room are as follows:

• Arrange for a decent and comfortable bed which is the most essential need for your guests who are planning to stay overnight at your place. Provide some clean bed sheets, pillow covers and extra blankets for a comfortable sleep.

• Clear out some space in your room or a particular corner where the guests can keep their luggage with ease. If you do not have even have a corner to spare, then at least provide a chair or a table-top to place their luggage.

• Provide them with a space to hang their shirts, pants or other items in the room. You might even clear out some space in your cupboard and ask them to place their clothes in your closet. Or else give them some decent hangers or empty rods wherein they can put their clothes.

• Arrange for a bed-side table with a glass of water, an alarm clock and some good books/magazines to browse through at night. Also you may keep some pens/pencils, tissue and scissors.

Hi

Create storage with multifunctional furniture. A chest or trunk doubles as storage space and a nightstand, which is a great way to stylishly disguise linens or extra pillows.

Use room dividers to conceal boxes and equipment. Room dividers come in many colors and styles to match any room theme. They can quickly conceal exercise equipment, storage boxes and anything else that needs hiding.

Clean out the guest room closet. Donate clothing and coats and sell items such as rollerblades, sports equipment, and board games on eBay for extra cash.

Thanks

Hello Friends

1)Fresh Linens:Always have an extra set of bed and bath linens available for your guests. Accidents DO happen! Or you may have one of those wonderful guests who insists on changing the sheets when they leave. Let them do it! And thank them profusely!
2)A Place to Set Down a Suitcase:Clear a space to put a luggage rack or a small table or bench to set down a suitcase. No one likes to have to stoop over to the floor to pull out a clean pair of socks. Even a chair is better than nothing!
3)Clear the Decks:Resist the temptation to put your beautiful collection of dolls on the dresser or fill the closet with out-of-season clothes. In a guest room, less is more--more space, more comfortable, and more welcoming. Get rid of anything that you would not find in the room of a fine hotel. Keep only the most useful items in the room, like a clock and calendar.
4)A Comfy Place to Sit:Some people absolutely do not sit on a bed! And your guests shouldn't have to. Place an upholstered armchair or side chair in the room with a table and lamp close by.
5)Good Lighting:It always amazes me when I walk into an otherwise nice hotel room and there's no light to read by! It's always nice to have a light control near the bed, so your guest won't have to stumble around in the dark, just to turn a light on.

Thanks

I think I have to agree on you. Because designing every room in your home is a challenging task, but it’s not impossible. Thank you for the information that you have shared.
