This is a traditional brunch item from Pakistan - served with Naan bread. This recipe is simple to put together but takes more than normal cooking time.

Ingredients
2 kg Beef Undercut
1 tsp Dry GingerClick to find more about Ginger
1 tsp "SaunfClick to find more about Saunf"
1 tsp Cumin SeedsClick to find more about Cumin Seeds ("ZeeraClick to find more about Zeera")
Green Cardamoms
4 to 5 Glass water
1 tsp Tumeric Powder
1 tbsp GingerClick to find more about Ginger + GarlicClick to find more about Garlic Paste
Cup Flour(mixed with water)
Red Chilli Powder To Taste
SaltClick to find more about Salt To Taste
2 Onions Cut Finely1 Cup Butter Oil ("GheeClick to find more about Ghee")
Or any Cooking Oil


Preparation
First heat oil and put in the onions till brown.
Then put the beef and mix well.
Then put gingerClick to find more about ginger,saunfClick to find more about saunf,zeeraClick to find more about zeera and cardamoms and mix well.
Then add tumeric powder,gingerClick to find more about ginger+garlicClick to find more about garlic paste, red chilli powder, saltClick to find more about salt and gheeClick to find more about ghee and stir well.
Let it cook till beef is tender.
Make paste of flour and add in it and continuously mix it.
Cook for another 10 minutes.
Just before serving, put freshly fried onions alongwith hot gheeClick to find more about ghee.
Serve the delicious spicy nihari with sliced gingerClick to find more about ginger, green chillies and corriander leaves.

I just wanted to know how many green cardomoms am I suppost to use in this recipe?It doesnt say how much and is it 1 tsp for both garlic and ginger paste?
