Chicken seasoned with corriander and green chillied and then cooked with flavorsome spices.


Ingredients
1 chickenClick to find more about chicken cut in pieces
A bunch of coriander and mintClick to find more about mint leaves (hara dhaniaClick to find more about hara dhania aur podinaClick to find more about podina)
2 onions peeled and sliced
oil for frying
Cumin powder (zeeraClick to find more about zeera)
GarlicClick to find more about Garlic and gingerClick to find more about ginger powder or paste
A bunch of green chillies
4-5 tomatoes
Yogurt
1 tsp of garam masala powder


Preparation
Heat the oil, add the onions and fry the chickenClick to find more about chicken with gingerClick to find more about ginger and garlicClick to find more about garlic paste or powder.
While that is happening, in a blender add the coriander leavesClick to find more about coriander leaves (hara dhaniaClick to find more about hara dhania), mintClick to find more about mint leaves (podinaClick to find more about podina), green chilies, tomatoes, and a little water and a tsp of yogurt.. whip the ingredients into a smooth paste.
Add saltClick to find more about salt, garam masala and cumin powder to it, as well.
Take another pan with oil (enough oil so that the paste can settle in it) heat the oil and add the paste from the blender to it.
Let the paste cook on lowmed heat until you see the oil coming up and the paste gets darker. By this time (20 mins max) you should be able to smell the coriander and mintClick to find more about mint together.
Take the pan and add the cooked paste onto the chickenClick to find more about chicken or you can add the chickenClick to find more about chicken in to the pan.
Leave it to cook for another 15 mins.
Prick the chickenClick to find more about chicken with a fork or a knife while it cooks to allow the curry to soak into the meat.
Garnish with parsley leaves and fried onions.
If you want to make it more muglai, blend in almondsClick to find more about almonds and pistachio and add on to the paste which cooks before the chickenClick to find more about chicken gets added on.

Pls do not make mistakes while writing the recipe..instead of 45 tomatoes it should be 4-5 tomatoes i guess....

I havent' tried this dish yet, but I liked the name so I clicked to check out recipe. The 45 tomatoes should be changed to 4 - 5 tomatoes (meaning 4 to 5 tomatoes). Thanks! :)
